With a wealth of experience developed over a decade in the wedding industry through photography and florsitry, and previous to this, Interior Design at John Lewis. I am passionate about creativity and the attention to detail.
I founded The Flower House in 2014, after buying an existing floristry business and have ran it as a suceessful shop in Stamford for just under 4 year, when I decided to close the retail shop and now work from my home based studio specialising in weddings.
I have also now launched my wedding planning and styling services, which I feel have been the natural next step, I can now help you with all the visual aspects of your wedding, offering you a calm and supportive role whilst creating a wonderful experience for you and your guests.
Over the past 15 years, I have been fortunate enough to photograph weddings across the Uk from Blenheim Palace to the George Hotel in Stamford, plus two weddings in Spain. More recently I provided the flowers for a wedding styled shoot in Italy and for a small intimate wedding at Claridge's Hotel, earlier this year.
I am also within my final year of a Foundation Degree course in Professional Floristry and Floral Design, which I will top up with a BA Hons next year. Plus have trained with some of the best florists in the country, including Jay Archer's wedding career course and Sabine Darrell. Aswell a swedding planning training with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and more recently, with Planning Redefined in London.
When I am not working on weddings, you will find me with my crazy cockerpoo, Bailey.... unless he is taking a nap, he helps with the flowers, loving to run around with the dropped stems.
